Interview/reading link; endorser quest; illustrator!
I just realized that I never posted this link here in the blog. It's an interview & reading on the Worldview show, a Chicago Public Radio program that airs at noon Monday through Friday. The host, Jerome McDonnell, & senior producer Steve Bynum are lovely people who talk little & listen a lot.
The poems Jerome asked me to read skew toward the autobiographical, although the book is mostly about others' stories. It makes for a very personal conversation. Hope you enjoy it!

In other news, I'm about to start asking a few author friends to consider endorsing Adriana's Angels. If they're up for reading it, they'll get a preview of the illustrations! I'm delighted with the imaginative work of the artist who's been contracted. You can peek at her work here: www.erikameza.com (nothing from my book, though--its unveiling must await publication!).
Also, I'm working on an application for a residency--I badly need some dedicated time for writing projects. More children's stories are pulling at me, more poems. Here's hoping.
