I totally relate to the “If you build it, they will come,” mantra from Kevin Costner’s Field of Dreams. I wrote it, looked at the sales numbers daily and we weren’t selling enough to field a baseball team. But the sheer number of books trying to stand out is akin to sighting a new star by looking up into a bright Montana night. Where do you start?Slowly, but surely we’ve gotten more and more readers.
