first of all , I would like to say that I love your writing, once I start reading, I just don't want to put it down. I'm glad that you have found a solution for staying healthy and active, take care .....

Too much of a reader to do any exercise, even though I keep telling myself I need to sign up for Zumba.
Well I was recently hospitatized for pancreatitis and I became aware I am really good at taking care of everyone else but not so much myself. So I'm making more of an effort to check my BP before I read and working up to walking the dogs again. I reward myself with reading after housework, ECT.

I'm pretty good about what I eat, but I hate to stay to routine in order to get the exercise I need.

Thanks. I feel the same, as I am definitely heavier, than I want to be. A shifter...or Carpathian...after me would get me going, I'm sure.
First, I have to say love your books. I have all the books every series. I like to start from the 1st and read through a whole series between books coming out. So thank you for all the hard work you put in. Like you I am self employed. I Live on a hobby farm and raise Northern Shiloh shepherds and Bengal cats plus my farm animals, so I can't be away for long. I love what I do but it's not everyone. Just like writing. So either I have a lot of time on my hands or crazy busy birthing and taking care of babies. I know I should be walking the dogs but it's so much easier to hop into the utv and take them for a run. You think I would be fit carry buckets of feed and so on. But nope once I hit the forty mark I got my grandma figure I like to call it. My husband loved me when I was thin and still loves me now that I'm chubby and we the readers like you just they way you are to. So be proud to have a soft cuddly figure your grand kids can hug and love on. I bet not one ever came up and said I wish you where thin grandma. So work out if you feel like it but if you don't enjoy it then don't, just playing with the grand kids is a great work out. ha ha ha. Keep up the great work, reading leopard fury now.

You bet!! take care of yourself but don't kill yourself trying to look like a model. I carry around fifty pound buckets of feed. clean out stock tanks, pens, etc, etc. So it's not about getting a work out, as you grow older your metabolism slows down and about being happy with the body shape you have. Just an add on to anyone reading that if you are overweight and can't lose it. Go in and get a check up, ask to have your thyroid tested and sugar levels. a lot of times people have thyroid problems, diabetic or have some other health issue that needs to be addressed.
