My friend popped this in an email to me this morning:

“For a list of all the ways technology has failed to improve the quality of life, please press three.”

It made me smile. I do love technology but I am weary of it as a magic bullet. There is nothing, at least not yet, that beats being in face-face communication with people. As my social psychology lecturer cautioned: humans are groupies. Enjoy it!
