I’m still here
The picture above sums up me perfectly. The past year has been a whirlwind of finishing book 3 of The Black Eagles series, being a mum, wife and helping with family business. I must admit I have taken my foot of the gas, my promotional self should be ashamed. My books have been sat on the Amazon shelf mostly ignored. I only have myself to blame and the thing called life. I am now very close to finishing my first series and just waiting for my final part to be returned from my editor. I decided to take a few weeks out to relax and clear my mind to allow new ideas to take root. I could lie and say that the ideas are flooding in and I have seven more books in the works. I have two, but I’m debating over them if I’m honest and I don’t think one will make it.
You see I have been cheating on my characters with others things, Amazon prime and Netflix. I hadn’t sat down and watched anything in full for years because I had been hell bent on writing. I got carried away BUT it wasn’t a complete waste. It has given my mind a shake up and although I am now fully ready to attack the world of make believe I need to decided where to go now.
Have I given up on writing? Hell No! I’m taking my time before jumping in. But what I really need to do for the coming months is get my series out into the world. It is time to show it some love.
