My first ever book order came in yesterday. I was more excited than a a kid on Christmas morning when I heard the rumble of the UPS truck in front of my house. I happily ran outside in the freezing cold and hefted the 22lb boxes into the house and ripped them open. For a moment, I just gazed at the twenty-five books inside, unable to wrap my head around the fact that it was my book looking up at me, my story that I worked so hard on for the past year. 


And even better was the fact that there were people who had actually purchased a copy. People actually wanted to read my book! How did I get so lucky? I feel so blessed to have these supportive and wonderful people in my life who are willing to take the time out of their busy lives to read my humble debut novel.
