I picked a lot of sword cards for next year. These represent worries, struggles and pain, so I'd say we've all been through the ringer a bit. I picked a second card for each sign, to represent what your goal should be, moving into January, to enhance or counteract  your sign's theme  card.  (Images: Anna K. Tarot) Aries:  The Hermit.
​Goals:  6 of Swords
Contemplation is needed, before action. Seek guidance from your intuition, regarding the future. You have a clean slate, at the moment. By July 4th, if you took the time for this contemplation, what you envisioned should be culminating. 

You are not going backwards. Previous struggles are over, but the residue follows you. Allow life to take the lead, instead of forcing the direction. Action should be taken in the mind only, as in the Hermit, with physical action only when required, or signalled. The mind manifests. Force of will or use of the physical body is not required, to acquire that which you desire.
Taurus:  Ace of Rods.
Goals:  3 of Cups.
Balance, focus and determination are called for...especially in new ventures. You are in the early stages of something, and the situation must be handled delicately. New experiences are yours, as you move into a positive phase of being. Celebrations of harvest and achievement come, from what was started in the previous card, in early fall. Support from friends, coworkers, customers, the public and family. Expansion and success are yours. Gemini:  7 of Swords
Goals:  2 of Cups
There has been betrayal, and loss of trust. Someone may be trying to be sneaky, or pull one over on you again. The atmosphere is one of taking, and of revenge. To strike back at another who has made you suffer, will make the cycle continue for you, with future losses. Instead, let bygones be bygones. Guard what is yours, and don't leave your door open to those who would not think twice about betraying you again. All underhanded activity in the home, must end. There is a better scenario, or relationship for you, in the future. Focus on what you want, and how you want your life to be. Whoever or whatever you attract to yourself, will be a direct reflection of you.  Cancer:  Queen of Cups
Goals:  The Devil
The Queen signals a time, when you need to pay attention to your intuition. It is also a time to begin to put money into a savings and a retirement account. You need to start saving backup for the future. Drowning in emotions, will keep you from moving forward with your life. It is time unload excessive behaviors of the past. By all means enjoy your life, but rid yourself of addicitons that will eventually be your downfall. A cleansing of your home, space and body is needed, from unwanted dark energies. Release hatred from the past, so that you can truly enjoy life in a pure way.

Leo:  6 of Pentacles
Goals:  Four of Pentacles
Your values are being challenged. It would be wise for you to release the labeling of others, as beneath or above you. None of this is true in Spirit. Give with an open heart, through a loving Spirit, and not for the aggrandizement it may bring you. Give and receive from the heart. Make sure you are paid what is owed, and value your own worth.
Do not let what you give value to, control you in return. If having what you need, requires someone else to suffer, know that in the end, you will suffer more. What you are holding on to, will not bring you want you want. Sharing with others will make your life, and your health improve, and will lighten your load. If finances are suffering, give anyway. Trust that you can have all, if you allow Spirit to bring it.

Virgo:  The World
Goals:  Death
There may be a pregnancy at this time, or something in the works, waiting to be born, such as a creative project or business idea. It may take a month to get it off the ground, but all things are possible. Success is assured, if you act on, and use what you are given. Clear the way for success. Much needs to be let go of, in order for the new to be born. Allow yourself to succeed. Know that you are not going back to the past. Your life is altered, and what needs to go, will not return.  Libra:  The Lovers
Goals:  The High Priestess
Happy home life is yours. Your life feels complete. There are decisions open to you, and none are wrong. Many things are blossoming, and life is sweet. Take time to dream, and build up your savings. Make sure you are on rock solid ground, and follow  signs, synchronicities and intuitve urges. Your reach is far, and has long term effects. Your intuition is strong, so trust it. Results begin over the next month, and real results within a year's time. Scorpio:  10 of Swords
Goals:  3 of Rods
You have not gone unscathed. You have endured much suffering and pain, but can go no lower. You will walk away from worry, and old obsessions. All will be washed away, and you can only go up from here. The numbness will help, in the meantime, to allow you to move forward, as you are moving forward. The previous difficulties, that may have lasted years, have moved you to an incredible clarity of vision. You can define, now what you want, and the result will be better than what you thought. Don't be afraid to do something completely different. You have achieved enlightenment, and any goal, by being free of fear. Wait for it. Its coming.

Sagittarius:  8 of Swords
Goals:  King of Rods
It is time to stop viewing yourself as lacking, and someone who can't do what they set their mind to accomplishing. You are the only one who can hurt or hinder you. Your environment, and everyone around you will treat you, as you view yourself. If you are seeing all your past mistakes, then others will manipulate you through your guilt. It is time to throw away that mirror, and see yourself as you are. Money issues are not as they seem. Your fear is ungrounded. 
​ Its time to step forward, into the life you were meant to be living, and release the past. Your true identity is a charismatic, creative, enterprising, individual. Start new, and you will have the support of others. They want to help you. Follow your vision, and release the identity of the last card, which only you see. Let others know how they should treat you, by stepping into your true self.  Capricorn:  Justice
​Goals:  King of Pentacles
Your karma is hitting you at this time. Based on previous actions, you will receive your due. If you have musical talent, apply it, or listen to some music that brings you to a higher place. Follow the rules to the letter. It is not a time to try and get around what should be done.  This is your suit...pentacles, so step into your own power, and use it wisely. Investments in financial or physical things, relationships, etc. should pay off. Do not view others as a means to an end, or a way to help you achieve financial freedom, status or any other goal you have. You are the key to that. The other people around you are a blessing in your life. 

Aquarius:  The Magician

Things may be hectic, but there will be a reason for the madness. Wait to be shown. You can create your life as you want it, right now. It is time to use what you have, and step forward toward goals. Contact with other beings through channeling is possible. People want to help you, and you may not be interested. The pleasures of the world may hold little interest, or are not your answer at this time. Go within...meditate...and you will find the contentment you seek. Pisces:  4 of Swords

It is time for you to have your cry, and let out old pains from the past. Heal and give yourself a break, right now. If you are ill, know that healing is coming. If life seems bleak, know that your emotional state is a choice, and you can change it, by deliberately changing your thoughts. Life is open to you. You just need to let the Sun in. Say "yes" to life, and it will respond in kind. Postive news reaches you, and you achieve what you were aiming for. A trip by air is possible, as well as a breath of fresh air entering your life.
