So I've redone my website. It may take a little while to get out the bugs and get all the different headlines/metadata/text fonts and colors straight, but otherwise I hope people find it to be a more pleasurable website experience.

Right now I'm waiting for my agent to read the manuscript of my third book, tentatively titled Invisible Streets. The first read is always a little nerve-fraying. I end up so immersed in the details of the story that it is hard to get a good sense of whether the whole is as good as I think it is. It's the forest for the trees thing, but spread over 100,000+ words.

I'm starting to schedule events around the release of Scorch City on August 30. You can see the schedule on the sidebar to your right.

At my son's urging I've delved into my first Reacher novel, The Hard Way, and am really enjoying it. The story really moves. There's quite a hubbub on the Interwebs about Tom Cruise being slated to play Reacher in some upcoming movie. He wouldn't be my first choice, but I'm not as up in arms as some other people. You know that the money will be there to do it right. On deck on my bedstand: The Informationist and The White Devil.
