There are three types of writers: plotters, pansters and hybrids of the two. Plotters enjoy mapping out every detail of their story, regardless of the length, prior to actually beginning a draft. However, pansters are the complete opposite, and with pen in hand, they write their way into the great unknown without a single outline to guide them. Then, we have hybrids who are a mix of both and usually begin by having a vague outline but tend to drift from the script once they begin drafting.
I am certainly a hybrid of the two and can never stick to the plan. Which of the three are you, and why did you prefer it? Please comment your thoughts down below! :)

Plotting doesn't work for me, because I never know enough about my story and characters to be able to make a proper plan when I start a writing project. Plus, my characters don't listen to me most of the time, so they wouldn't stick to the plan if I made one anyhow.
