New year, new books, new characters, and the end to my first series—I promise it won’t be my last!

Book Five of the Kelsey’s Burden Series: Love and Rage, is spinning out great plots, all your favorite characters, and answering those questions left unanswered. ETA is Spring – I’ll post something more specific when I can.

Jumping out soon after will be my first standalone. I must say, I’ve laughed out loud at my own writing more times than I can count. Something about the main character of the new book just calls to me when I’m writing it. I know everyone is going to like her as much as I do. I wish I could make her a real person, and then live next door to her! What a hoot that would be!

I actually thought it would be difficult working on two books at once, but the writing is so different, the characters such opposites, that it helps to balance my days. When I’m feeling detail-plot driven-super focused, well, we all know that’s Kelsey. Then on those days where I come home already stressed out and need some goofy-carefree time…hello Tweedle-Dee. Yes, I said Tweedle-Dee, but it’s just a nickname. I’ll give everyone a peek at the first chapter soon. It will make more sense then. ETA for release – early summer.

I also have a non-fiction book as well that is in rough draft form. But it’s being tested to see if others find it helpful. No more details available yet. We shall see…

I have notes on three other stories – Ideas that came to me that I jotted down. I saved them in a folder on my laptop labeled: DON’T OPEN. Because, really, if I’d allow myself to go there, I’d have thirty books started and never finish any of them. Isn’t lesson one – Know thy self?

Thank you to all my readers for the amazing reviews and posts! You make working two full time jobs worth it, and you are my inspiration to keep improving and creating stories on a whole new level. I will try to improve the frequency of my posts. Just know that if you don’t hear from me for long periods of time, it’s because I’m zoned into my make-believe world. It’s nice there.

I hope everyone is enjoying the new year as much as I am.

Best Wishes to All —KAYLIE HUNTER
