I'm Alive!

Wow, once again I completely forgot this was a thing. So much has happened though.

Beasts Like Us, the story I had been working on since 2015, has been published AND sold so many copies that my publisher has made it available in print! My first solo book that I can put on my shelf (next to Cowboy Roundup and Love Is Proud) and loan to people who want to read it! The lucky 13th published story. So proud.

My latest, Fostered Affections, is also now available. Started working on that one way after my last blog post, but it was based on an idea I got from a flyer at the vet's office (my dog is old and fat, and thus needs frequent check-ups, so I saw that flyer a lot). I like the way it turned out, and hopefully you'll like it too! *nudges you to my JMS Books author page where you can buy it*

Ironically, I didn't buy the WoW expansion. In fact, I uninstalled the game. Instead, I've been playing a lot of Heroes of the Storm and I got a new job, so those both have taken a chunk out of my productivity time. I did just sign the deal for my 15th story, the long-promised sequel to Ace of Hearts, so it's not like I've been sitting on my hands for eight months. Now the issue is deciding whether I want to work on my fantasy story, my paranormal story, my contemporary college story, my fresh attempt at an F/F piece, or finish my most recent NaNoWriMo project.

There's also the sliiiight time-eater that is my return to college this coming spring. I'm shooting for a second Bachelor's degree, this time in film (puns). As such, some of my creative juices will be diverted into school projects instead of my ever-growing Works in Progress pile. Hoping to get as many done, or at least fleshed out, as possible before that happens. Knowing me, I will spend the majority of my time gaming and watching Markiplier videos.

So it goes.
