Yorkshire – Kate Shackleton Territory

Yorkshire is a surprising place of stark contrasts.My home, the city of Leeds in West Yorkshire, was once a hub of industry including engineering and tailoring factories. Today’s emphasis is on banking, insurance, shopping and eating. Leeds is home to my detective, Kate Shackleton who trod the mean streets and drove her car along winding roads in the 1920s.Kate’s sleuthing takes her across the broad acres of Yorkshire, popularly known as “God’s Own County”.

Karen Jones it is a challenge to face what is happening here, talk of california become an independent country grows. i am truly shocked, horrified and embarrassed by what our leader and chief does daily - even hourly.

Karen Jones i can only hope that things will improve, that we will get back on the right track. i don't see that for current times but that stronger people will emerge (or re-emerge) and that we will find our way out of troubling times.
