Really great fun to be back with the goblins after a 6 week break over xmas. So we're onto part 2 of the book which effectively deals with the quest to get a weapon to defeat the giants whilst at the same time reflecting action back in the goblins village and, to some extent, the giant's side of things. Page 150 is now sat invitingly before me waiting to be passed.

It's wonderful fun playing with the Wise Wench, who knows everything that is going on - well almost everything - and loading up the plot in advance through her with plenty of irony. I've got a lovely scene I'm about to flesh out where she packs everything they need for the journey, with lots of frankly ludicrous things that will form part of the heroes' quest and plant some plot seeds to be plucked out at improbably amusing moments all being well. The Wise Wench will be having a lot more time in this part of the book as she's been such fun.

Thanks for sticking with me on this, I'll hopefully have more time now to focus back on the goblins and see it to its conclusion, when the lovely Al Rigg - the man of many talents - will then get it to work his editorial magic prior to release. Huzzah!
