I'm hard at work on a lesbian vampire romance novel. Vampires have always fascinated me. I'm not sure if it's the immortality, the biting, the blood, or the fact that they're often queer, but I love vampires.

There's a long history of queer vampires, going all the way back to Carmilla in 1872. I hope to continue that long tradition.

My story takes place in a where vampires are "out" and respected. And where vampires who cannot fend for themselves are delivered blood from the Red Cross.

And what is a vampire story without werewolves? There will be werewolves, although they are much more marginalized by society for their tendency to turn into enormous rage monsters.
