This is the first of two distinct, but interrelated books which seeks to offer an alternative evolutionary scenario to our current standard Neo-Darwinian model by way of a scientifically-guided thought experiment. Book One is based upon the accumulative research spanning the past 200 years of a diverse range of highly respected scientists who have offered distinctively different pieces of the evolutionary puzzle and these are assessed in the light of our most current understanding of biological complexity and Book Two applies these alternative and rather novel, but scientifically supported evolutionary scenarios to what we currently know regarding the ancient environmental and fossil record.
The need for a radical rethink of biological and evolutionary complexity and a solution to the many problems embedded in our current Neo-Darwinian model, became clearly apparent as a result of the author unintentionally delving deeply into the vast and often ideologically invested topic of biological evolution and discovering, according to the opinions of an increasingly alarming number of well-credentialed scientists, that an alternative model was seriously overdue. The author presents the empirical data in an understandable way to demonstrate that it is these distinctly non-Darwinian concepts that are finding increasing scientific support in the light of our most current insights into biological complexity: whereas, the modern synthesis: genetic/selection, ‘dog-eat-dog’ model is not. Thus, this begins to provide a much overdue antidote to the “Selfish Gene” concept (i.e. In reference to the famous book of the same name by Richard Dawkins) that epitomises the randomly, slavishly-driven gene-centric basis of modern Darwinism, which currently underpins and informs almost every facet of our present-day society.
This investigation ultimately begins to offer an overarching evolutionary synthesis; one that emerges naturally out of the ashes of the old. And it would appear that it is literally Quantum: a paradigm shift in how we might begin to fundamentally re-evaluate biological life, evolutionary processes and its profound implications regarding the past, and what this means for our future. From highly-likely quantum cellular- crystalline beginnings, governed by universal laws of growth, form and scaled proportion and from organelles, to organs and ultimately to organisms, along with the co-evolution of the entire coding system; everything is seemingly – simply a matter of scale.
