I got some great news this week. A short story, featuring Dr. Enid Seward, will be in the "Day of the Dark" anthology edited by author Kaye George
Kaye George. We screamed and did a happy dance! I know it's a small step, but I needed some encouragement. Three queries out on the first Enid Seward novel (one for almost 2 months), and silence. I'm trying to be hopeful, consider the agent who has had it since January 1 gave me a 'positive rejection' in less than a week on my first novel and asked to see a full ms on this one. In light of the good news, I'm planning to go to Bouchercon in Toronto. Here's a link if you're interested in the anthology, which comes out in August:

SQUEEEE!
