Fae Runes

If you look at my back covers or title pages, you will see that I always include Fae runes that spell out the subtitle of the book. Most people don't know this, but as part of my worldbuilding I spent a year creating a fully-functional Fae language. And yes, I am aware how geeky that is! Here are the Fae runes for my upcoming book, Werewolf Unchained...

Bonnie Dale Keck That reminded me to go check google books for hearblaze 3, nope still not there.

message 6: by Shay (new)

Shay Roberts It will be in most places by Thursday of next week. Google Play takes a little longer because it's been closed to new publishers for over a year now and you have to go through third parties to get in there.

message 7: by Bonnie (new)

Bonnie Dale Keck leave it to google to come as big a pita as apple

message 8: by Gwessie (new)

Gwessie Tee Be careful with google play Shay authors have been getting ripped off as have readers they've been losing authors because of it xxx

message 9: by Bonnie (new)

Bonnie Dale Keck well quite a few are having issues with amazon and the kindle unlimited too, more and more are stopping putting their stuff on that, plus of course even without issues it is exclusive to amazon deal which sure bites

message 10: by Gwessie (new)

Gwessie Tee Iknow what you mean, I ended up getting the kindle app sick of not being able to get books exclusive to amazon I usually use my kobo or tucan apps xxx

message 11: by Bonnie (new)

Bonnie Dale Keck I am pretty much stuck, have to use the kindle for pc, the one with the audio plug in, tho that does save the per book extra cost of the audio, once in a blue moon will sight read but it takes so long compared to how used to be, i was speed reading by the age of 4, so beta and arc ehhhhh...did one for him, one for campling and did an arc for couple or so. The only way can get thru the average of 10-20 books per day is my not doing those but once in great while, the time issue it takes me personally.

message 12: by Gwessie (new)

Gwessie Tee Wow I'm new to reviewing started Jan books keep me sane but have read for years but now its mostly what I'm able to do so wish i was a vampire fix my spine ditch the pain sorted lol ah well, I can speed read but take a bit mire time with new reads especially beta, I've only read a few ace but I'm getting more now so alls good, id get distracted with audio lol but sometimes I pass out on pain meds so id probably miss half of it on audio but id love biographies in audio, mostly just romance with me though my eldest reads allsorts, she thinks I'm odd but its me escaping into a book with a positive that I need mostly get that, just realised this is on Shays wall and were nattering lol definitely live reading Shays so far though cant wait for more,

message 13: by Bonnie (new)

Bonnie Dale Keck He don't care I don't think, but we could talk about Christmas with a Vampire, it's my favorite of all his babies.

message 14: by Gwessie (new)

Gwessie Tee Oooo this one I've not read yet but I have some acts to do before I can lol I've literally just read 1-4 Heartblaze atm but I'm hoping to as soon as I've got these read xxxx

message 16: by Bonnie (new)

Bonnie Dale Keck and btw that was really a short story that realy didn't have to do with heartblaze, a lot of his short stories don't, tho was thinking at least 1 did but trying to clear email and my brain is dead for details

message 17: by Gwessie (new)

Gwessie Tee No worries I ended up with 3 for reviewing 2 and 1 I found Shay through Instafreebie , I love the stories love all the paranormal lol cliff hangers naughty Shay but loveing it, so.e of it gets fast pace but totally agree xxxx I think on the bta read I jput love it on most of them I found a word I didn't know was a word but that's good I got educated lol xxxx I think if you email Shay you can probably get 3 considering you've read and reviewed and beta read the others,

message 18: by Bonnie (new)

Bonnie Dale Keck well dunno, on his amazon he gives a lot away on perma free, one did buy thru google play think #2 but quite a few were free, just not out on googleplay yet, usually use amazon but have play money but no more amazon gc so eh

message 19: by Gwessie (new)

Gwessie Tee Go on shays fb page if you can message him with links of your reviews ask to see if you can read 3 to review for him or sign up on his web sight often he puts links to email when a review is sent. at the moment hes trying to show Heartblaze as much as possible and may do that for you or sign up to the mailing list that's how I got into the reading and reviewing for Shay xxx hope tho helps xxx

message 20: by Bonnie (new)

Bonnie Dale Keck I'm on his email that's how got the 4 as arc and also on his fb which don't sign up for many there, don't like most people lol and much the same as on here i do copy paste on reveiws tho did review on google play books just for him and list all his books

message 21: by Gwessie (new)

Gwessie Tee Ah I get ya

message 22: by Bonnie (new)

Bonnie Dale Keck well gotta give it to him, i liked a vampire novel about christmas, that's no mean feat, he got mad skilz

message 23: by Gwessie (new)

Gwessie Tee Definitely omg love it so ( trying so hard not to give a spoiler about 3 lol) loving the additions of more paranormals though, and to be honest writes better than Tolkein, style is similar but love these more that's quite a feat though I loved the story of Return of the King the most, Shay is definitely a gifted scribe

message 24: by Bonnie (new)

Bonnie Dale Keck Well I've read everything, and do mean everything by tolkien, even have several sets put out thru the years and the prequels and side stories and the tic tac toe gold and silver rings etc etc etc so except for 3 with Roberts close to that on him. Not many people would do arc for much less beta.

message 25: by Gwessie (new)

Gwessie Tee Wow, that's fantastic I read them but took me longer than normal but loved the stories though, I'm a baby reviewer in comparison lol I just read to keep me sane if reviewing helps the authors I'm down to help out,

message 26: by Bonnie (last edited Feb 28, 2017 05:53AM) (new)

Bonnie Dale Keck I do it to have something to do, and reading doesn't take me any time, but reviewing even copy past same again on here and amazon and bookbub if available and on non US amazon sometimes oh and rare but sometimes on author xp sometimes get something, got audio other day from writer, thanked him and told him if he ever did that again would hunt him down, audible sux, have kindle for pc WITH audible plugin, then narrator and speakonia to customize, and programs to change from other to mobi well that and the audible really did suck, skipped, wasn't matching chapter with 'title' hung crashed finally gave up and pulled on ku, was done start to finish in a few minutes, best of all with my programs is no add on price for each and every book, tho with those admit to 'realistic' voices but i listen at omg can you really understand at that speed {yes, i can}

message 27: by Gwessie (new)

Gwessie Tee Must admit reading is literally the only thing I'm physically able to do that doesn't cause me pain so now i review as a thank you to the authors that I adore for writing books that keep me sane, I don't often get asked but I'm a mills and boon insider so they ask now before I just volunteered to do reviews lol huge love n hugs so sorry for the delay not been to great last could of days xxx

message 28: by Bonnie (new)

Bonnie Dale Keck no prob, just reading reviewing clearing email days for me anyway, cleared some of my kindle unlimited but still not seeing shay's #3 on google play books, done run thru my credits on amazon, don't think he's on ku

Shay Roberts Bonnie wrote: "no prob, just reading reviewing clearing email days for me anyway, cleared some of my kindle unlimited but still not seeing shay's #3 on google play books, done run thru my credits on amazon, don't..."

Got H3 everywhere now but Google Play, which takes forever. Several more days at least.

Shay Roberts Shay wrote: "Bonnie wrote: "no prob, just reading reviewing clearing email days for me anyway, cleared some of my kindle unlimited but still not seeing shay's #3 on google play books, done run thru my credits o..."

And yes, I'm wide, so sadly, I can't be in KU.

message 31: by Bonnie (last edited Mar 03, 2017 06:21PM) (new)

Bonnie Dale Keck Oh always tell writers am sure I have *edit that was supposed to have been HATE kindle 'unlimited' almost as much as they do, and understand from different places why they don't do ku, so when mention in review or elsewhere it not on there, just part of the blurb write up, whether on there, other books, series, etc, don't do plot that is what the blurb is for and reading it, tho will of course be reviewing 4 when it is available on amazon usually do that and this one at same time.

message 32: by Gwessie (new)

Gwessie Tee Huge hugs both xxx

message 33: by Gwessie (new)

Gwessie Tee That's what I've been attempting I hope they're ok, some have liked, others have said nothing, but I basically try not to include spoilers, I only use names if the author does in the info of the book itself but would never give any plot away its unfair I think, but yep haaaate kindle lol I feel like amazon is trying to corner a market, like author Kristen Painter said a few days ago its partly due to amazon kindle demanding exclusivity to them that she wont she knows she has a readers base that use a range of e readers, apps some prefer paper or hard back only and audible she said its not fair on readers or authors, I ended up getting the kindle app to help a new inde author out by reviewing but took me a good few hours messing about figuring it out so ended up dl on to the app permenant free books from authors I know just to get the hang of it, utterly mad but ah well each to their own medium I guess lol xx
