News & Notes

Dear Readers,

Please note that as one of my publishers, Samhain Publishing, has gone out of business, the books in my Sci-Regency Series and the With or Without series are no longer for sale, though some print copies as well as international titles may still be available.  I am working to remedy this as soon as possible. I plan on rereleasing all of them and adding to them with the next in each series, so please bear with me. I’m sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks for your patience and best...

Shyralf Are you ever going to publish Sterling's story? It's been 7 years.

k° It's rough because I seem to be unable to access the books which I purchased via Amazon back in the day. A shame because I wanted to reread them :(

Carol D Just discovered your Sci-Regency books and I'm loving them. I have to ask, will we see Tarren's story? *lol* I loved the fact the planets had elements of the Regency to it. Though I do have to wonder do the aristocracy of Regelence have any females at all and do they ever gain titles?

Carol D I'm hoping we'll get to see Rexley and Jeremy's story too. :) Will the short stories come back too? Such as will we see the stories involving Nate's dad? Hm, for that matter, I'd love to see a story with Leith. :) I'd also love to see Jared get a story too. :D

Carol D Hm, curious, I wonder if a child who is natural born with one procreated parent would have inherited enhanced traits regardless of gender?

message 6: by Carol (new)

Carol D You know, I meant to ask, with the progenitor machines, what's to keep someone from stealing genetic material from the 'donors' and trying to 'engineer' a child as a means for possibly toppling a hereditary government? I mean, can you imagine if the monarch and his consort had an unknown son or daughter out there that they hadn't planned on?

message 7: by Carol (new)

Carol D if Cony earned the nickname Rogue, what nickname did Steven earn? For that matter what nicknames did Arthur, Ravensberg, and Leith earn?

message 8: by Carol (new)

Carol D *lol* Here's another thought, can you imagine a Regency style Parkour? I'd bet some fencing would have to be involved. *lol*

Carol D I'm also so looking forward to the Re-release of With/Without and the Ranch series. Can you believe I still have the pdf of the originals saved to my PC?

message 10: by Carol (new)

Carol D I have to ask, will Rourke, Julian, and Robert get stories some day too? And poor Griff. :)

Kimber I am glad to hear you're going to try to get the Sci-Regency Series out for purchase again at some point. I got the first one and then the rest disappeared (ebook versions). Sorry for the publisher's going out of business, though.

Jammie Elder Is there a way to read the bonus scenes from both series anywhere?

Yeaah, to be honest I'm kind of confused because the author said on her official page that she is quitting writting mm genre but she is releasing the forth book of the series at the same time? I'm just disappointed that it's not probably about Sterling because his story was supposed to be the fifth book.. :( I'm also pretty upset about the fact that we will never (probably) have the opportunity to read about his love story.

Daisy13 Hello JL, hope you are well ... are you still writing? Have just re‐read your Sci-Regency and was wondering if we may get Trouble and Rexley's book at some point? Hope you see this and respond. Take care. Xx

Yareli You don't have a website anymore, so I'm pretty sure you're also not checking this site, but I just wanted to say that I'm super sad, that there is no news whatsoever if you're still writing or if the SciRegency series will ever get a proper conclusion. Maybe, if you ever read this, you can give us a real update. Despite the flood of romance stuff on the market, it's still my alltime favorite series and I read and re-read it all the time. There is nothing like it out there and I wish it'd continue and we'd get the stories of the rest of the characters we've come to love so much.
