At this moment the king shook the huge rope he held and, on his instruction, the noise orchestra began to use kazoos, megaphones, rattles and musical saws to deliver a curious, other-worldly racket. As they did, the other mummers came forward with cut out fins, pointy barbed tentacles and fake dangly claws which they paraded from behind the wall so the giants could only see the silhouette appendages. As the king tightened his grip on the pretend monster the orchestra redoubled their efforts; loudly humming on their kazoos, grr’ing into their megaphones, while those with musical saws made admirable glissando.
