When Kelly walked into the classroom, the late bell rang. She walked up to the table she always sat at. A group of four desks, which consisted of: Kelly, Rebecca, John, and Teresa. Kelly sat down, she smiled at everyone. The teacher was already up at the board. Kelly opened her book and started drawing on a slip of paper. Her eyes were starting to feel heavy. She was falling asleep. Then, Rebecca nudged her with her elbow. Kelly sat up straight. Kelly looked down at the paper and gasped at what was written there: DEATH, in bold writing. Kelly slammed her book shut before anyone could see what she had written.
"What was that about?" Rebecca whispered.
"Nothing. It was nothing. Just me being stupid. I'm tired, really." Kelly smiled unenthusiastically.
"Oh... okay."
