That was what I have decided to do. I just don't think the reader would get it. When I told Mom about it, she was as shell-shocked as I was, but that is because she knows my plans for the book and the series, and she saw how much my idea changed the dynamics of that plan. But I got to thinking about it, and I don't think the twist would be as impactful on them as it was to me and Mother.
I understand the late night thoughts, and the new twists and turns it takes. Been there, done that-----and once the mind starts down that path, it refuses to shut down. Wishing you the best on your series, whichever route you take----could you incorporate a little of your new idea in with the original one?

From what you say about this series, it sounds like you have a solid plan. You should stick to what you have thought and remember that your ideas are usually good ideas. And trust that God will give you the answers that you seek.

But as for your shower-thought, man, I wish I could tell you what to do. I think maybe your best course of action would be to stick to you original plans.
