Mouthing the Words

Twenty years ago I wrote my first novel, Mouthing the Words. Doubleday is reissuing the novel this June and I am thrilled that it will be widely available in Canada for the first time. My baby. All grown up. Mouthing the Words by Camilla Gibb

Saul You know, I read This is Happy, about a year ago, and now I am reading Mouthing the Words -- the intensity of writing is awesome, and as gripping as anything I have ever read (as far as I can remember, anyways). We enjoyed This is Happy so much, that we purchased a copy for our collection of books (as usually we borrow from the library). I will be doing the same when the reissued Mouthing the Words is available next month.

Congratulations, Camilla Gibb.

I recall meeting you briefly some 20 years ago, at Toronto's renowned "Word On The Street" book festival. You had given a talk wherein you'd mentioned having sequestered yourself in a borrowed trailer to concentrate on writing: your grotto amidst the woods.

It is wonderful to see how your career has evolved and matured since the release of Mouthing the Words.

I wish you all the best with its re-release and your future literary endeavors.

Sincerely,
Mark D Swartz
