Reanimation
My next novel, the first in my Reanimation Trilogy will be released on the 2nd of June 2017. I'm so excited for this trilogy as it's story line can only be described as (as far as I know) never being done before.
I idea for this novel came to me when I was once asked the question "think of a book or series that you've enjoyed and now think of a way to put your own unique spin on that book/series."
Twilight was the first book/series that came to mind, so I started to think about how I could make some serious changes to make it original and unique.
It annoys me that most novels, whether they be paranormal romance or romance in general, it's the heroine who seems to be the one who has to change or up-end her life for him.
'Well stuff that' I thought to myself, so that's when I decided to flip the situation and make the decision that of the heroes. This was made harder as in my case the hero is a vampire. But what if being a vampire meant that he was the victim of a terrible disease which he's been infected with? And therefore, what if there were a cure for that disease?
I started thinking about stem cell research and I did some light research into how they work and what amazing things can be done with them, and that is when Dr Allister Mathews was born. He's Kady's (my heroine's) father and he is the worlds leading medical research scientist in the field of stem cells and he has found a way, using stem cells, to cure vampires of their disease.
So, Rylan, (my hero) after having fallen in love with Kady, now has a choice to make. Will he give up immense power, unimaginable speed and strength and Reanimate back into a comparably slow, weak and susceptible to illness, human being once more?
Will he do it for love?
Keep an eye out on FB for my upcoming book trailer and cover release. Also don't forget to leave your reviews once you've read my young adult, paranormal romance novel, Reanimation right here on Goodreads, Amazon.com.au and any and all other book review sites.
Thank you. I hope you enjoy my novel.
