CONCEIVING ANOTHER BOOK
Having completed the launch of my fourth historical novel, Victoria’s Twins, I am over my "post-natal" slump and looking to start something new. Whilst I have a longer "serious" work in mind, I am toying with a series of pot boilers to get my name better known and raise some income.

The close of my recent 'Victoria's Twins' sees the hero migrating back to Manchester with the blessing and sponsorship of Australia's ASIO in return for what he did for them in frustrating foreign espionage initiatives down under. His return to normal peaceful life is shattered by the IRA's bombing of central Manchester and his recruitment by MI5 to investigate the source of explosives and arms that threaten British targets. This is likely to send him back to Australia and become the centre of sequels based in inner city Melbourne (a la Jack Irish)

I am in Brisbane, escaping Melbourne's winter and am relishing the chance to ride my Brompton bike between cafes along the river and be inspired to write.
