Hi There!

Hello fellow avid readers,

I'm new to Goodreads, so I am still stumbling around trying to work things out, but so far I'm having a ball.

I wanted to say thanks to all the readers who have contacted me about EON and EONA. The big question has been, will there be a third book in the Eona series? I'm not sure yet - if I do write one I want a strong storyline that will take Eona's story into new territory, and I have been working on some possible scenarios that are looking good. Suffice to say, I'm definitely not against entering the world of the Celestial Dragons again sometime soon. At the moment, however, I am totally besotted by my new project which is a hoot. I'll let you know about it as soon as the time is ripe.

Also, I'm thrilled to announce that I am going to be appearing at Comic Con New York on Sunday 16th October. I'll post more details as they come to hand.

Viva la books!

Best,
Alison

Devon Well, welcome to Goodreads! That would be so cool for a third book in the series and I really love your take on Celestial Dragons (I'm a mythology nut).

Can't wait to see what you come up with next!

Cyp Welcome to Goodreads! Oh, you should go blackmail your editor into making the third book! Ok, maybe not blackmail, but something along that line.. I loved Eona(the book and the girl), and I'd really want to see how she's doing without her powers or will she gain them back. And definitely her relationship development with Kygo. OHOH and how's the poor Lady Dela doing. I think she suffered the most in the series:/
Welcome again!

Bella oh PLEASE write another Eon/Eona book!!! They are my favorite and my whole day today was blue because I felt so sad to be parting with Eona. She's so awesome!

Aaron Mize The end of Eona was the greatest ending of a book i have ever read, and if there will be a third book, than i can't wait, the Eon books were AMAZING.

Aaron Mize The soft cinnemon joy of a remembered bond, the 8 best words in the end of the book, if a third book comes out, i have no doubt the ending will be great no matter what

Sunny I loved the world you created in Eon and Eona. It was a wonderful blend of contemporary and ancient, Western and Eastern, young adult and adult. I was captured by the spirit and courage of Eona. I think she is a wonderful role model for young adults.

Theresa I literally JUST NOW (about five minutes ago^^) finished reading the necklace of the gods and I am still absolutely in awe - the closing line seriously took my breath away. The first book was already fantastic but the way the storyline and the characters developed in the sequel was absolutely magnificent! I read a lot of books in my free time but I'm pretty sure I haven't read a series a good as this one in a very, very long time. Most book sequels are rather disappointing but you did a really amazing job, and I just wanted you to know that those two books moved you all the way to the top of my favourite authors list! :) PLEASE, if you have the time and the inspiration, continue this series. Best case scenario would be you writing about ten more books in this series but I'd already be super happy about it being a trilogy!

Ivana Hi, i just finished reading Eona :) it was perfect and i hope that there be a third book :) i also hope that Ido didnt die with second book :)

message 14: by Gage (new)

Gage I am new also and I have an idea. Maybe eona and kygo get married but first they has to find an ancient law in scrolls that will allow them to get married. While they are searching eona searches for maylon. They finally find the loophole but eona is pregnant with twins. a priest tells them that their firstborn daughter will bring back the dragons with a bargain and only the son can aid her. They have to decide whether to keep the babirs or not. dela and eona grow apart because of ryko's death. Then at the end go into detail about eona and kygo's life then tell about their descendants a little. Tell about either the dragons come back or not. It's just a suggestion. Like it or ignore it I don't care. I love your other books and know that even without this suggestion it will be great.

message 15: by Gage (new)

Gage You should team up with laini tailor she is as good an author as you. Your books and her books are a lot alike with the myths and folklore so y'all would be a good match

message 16: by Gage (new)

Gage I won't press charges lol. Her books are to good anyway for my suggestions

Brianna I LOVE LOVE LOVE the books and hope you will write part 3! :)
Although I was not quite happy about the ending because my favorite character is/was Ido... I can't help myself but I just hope, that he might return in the third book. I like him really much - since the ending of Eon ;)
