When 3 year-old Major Howard was gunned down as he sat in a car with loved ones the entire city of Cleveland was rocked to its core. His murderer wasn't identified right away, but when Donnell Lindsey was pegged as the killer everybody wanted him in jail. No, UNDER THE JAIL! And as fast as they could put him there. After months on the run, Donnell was captured in GA and tried.
According to
cleveland.com:
Donnell Lindsey, who two days earlier chuckled and shook his head at prosecutors' case against him in closing statements, stood silently as Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge John P. O'Donnell read the jury's verdict.

He now faces life in prison after jurors convicted him of murder, attempted murder, felonious assault, weapons charges and arson. He was found not guilty of two counts of aggravated murder.

O'Donnell will sentence Lindsey on July 12.

Jurors deliberated for more than two full days before reaching the verdict, which came more than a year after Major's death.

REST PEACEFULLY, MAJOR!
