It's wildfire season again in Montana, and that means smokey skies. It also means a fantasy series (in which a wildfire plays a pivotal role) I've been pecking at the last couple years but haven't been able to devote much time to—because, well, I have books to write that pay the bills—is back to gnawing at me. I've had to scratch that itch with a few dragon sketches like the one above (did I mention the series also features dragons?) because it's going to be a while yet before I can sit down...
