An essay on PJ
Here is a piece I was asked to write about PJ -- our life and work together, and her death. It was probably one of the most difficult things I've ever written, but also the most rewarding.

I read your essay with tears, both from the loss and from the humor (the 'know how to kill him' in the grocery store was priceless). Thanks to your mother for sharing her gift with you and thus with all of us who enjoy your writing and thank you for sharing more memories of her.
