Unfeasibly Awesome Hannah Giveaway Thing
As a final piece of book-pimping (honestly), there's a competition/giveaway thing, and here's how it works. If you've read HANNAH, put a review up on Amazon. On August 25th, a random reviewer will be selected to receive both a signed copy of the novel AND a canvas of a picture I took of one of the key locations in the novel (below).
Why? Because it's sometimes hard for people to decide whether to give a book a try. The publisher's bound to say nice things about it. So is the person who wrote it, probably, even if by the time of publication they may be at the stage of thinking "I have no idea now whether this is any good... please don't be mean to me". Thus the genuine responses of readers is always the most useful guide.
It doesn't have to be a long review. And just to be clear, it doesn't have to be a positive one, either. Conflicted reviews are just as valid and will also be entered for the competition. If you want to make me cry, that's a matter for your own conscience. My revenge may be foisting upon you a signed copy of a book you didn't like. Ha.
Ooh, and I've just remembered the winner will also get a Limited Edition T-shirt featuring the fabulous cover design. These T-shirts are rarer than that thing that Rare McRare, Professor of Scarcity at Rare College, Cambridge, only has one of. When people show you their Faberge Egg you'll be able to mutter “Christ, not another one”. In fact, I’m not sure these T-shirts even exist*.

* They do exist.
