Thanks to all who attended

Thanks to all who attended the reading of A Hundred Veils on Aug. 7, 2017. The Persian music was a wonderful addition to the event.
I've posted pictures and a short video on my Amazon Author Central site (https://www.amazon.com/author/reakeech) and on my website (www.realnicebooks.com).

message 1: by Doug (new)

Doug Meyer I read this novel because I lived in Iran at the time in which it was set. Reading it was like experiencing a sense of deja vu. Keech has captured the sense of the times, the culture and the language. As well as the friendships and the deep relationships. Mr Keech has a keen ear for language, and a sharp eye for observation. I envy him for that.

I had thought that perhaps the book might contain harangues against the CIA and its puppet, the Shah, and his regime. I was wrong; you'll have to go to a more political narrative for that story. This book will be a pleasure for anyone to read for the simple pleasure of enjoying a tragicomic story of young love in a land very strange to today's Americans.

As my friend Ben Stein used to say: read it: you might learn something!

But read it anyway. You'll be entertained, and your time and money will be well spent.
