"James was tall and blond and slim, but his neck was wide and strong like the Greek statues the class saw at the museum trip we had taken last week. He had eyes as blue as the Pacific Ocean. His nose was straight. He was tall and beautiful to look at, and I liked to watch the way he moved when he eased his body under his desk and onto the seat carefully because the old wooden desks were too small for him. His legs stuck out at the side and he would quickly draw them in if anyone was passing by. I was mesmerized by the large dimple on one of his cheeks.
