And the winner is....

Bear! Thank you Beatrice for the submission. You will have a paperback copy of Delsyn's Blues when it's out. I don't have a definite release date yet, expect early next year (yes I know it's a while to wait, sorry). If you'd EM me lou(dot)sylvre(at)gmail(dot)com an address where you want it mailed when the time comes, I'll get it out to you. I'll update with news about the release date as it happens.

Thanks also to all others who submitted! All of the offerings were hard to turn down.

There may be more contests, so keep an eye out! (This was fun!)

Beatrice Whoop! Didn't expect that my suggestion would be chosen. :) Thank you so much for the contest! All the other entries were great; I wasn't sure if I stood a chance against them.

Lou Sylvre You're right about it being a tough choice, Beatrice, but in the end Bear won out for a number of reasons--not the least because he is a Chow looking mutt, and Chow-chows do look bear-ish, as you said. Fun snippet: when Luki first meets Bear, not being much of a dog person, he actually asks Sonny, "Is that a dog?" Beatrice wrote: "Whoop! Beatrice LOL at Luki's question! This picture probably wouldn't help his cause:

Yes, that's a chow-chow!

Lou Sylvre Amazingly cute! Though probably a very serious personality. He looks like he's gone undercover as a Panda! Thanks, Beatrice.

OH MY GOSH, that is way too cute!

I love the name Bear, I used to have a big red half lab/half golden retriever named Bear. He was a wonderful dog. Good choice.
