Ah, the wait!

The book found an agent, a publisher, it was content edited, line edited, copy edited, the galleys gave me one final shot at making changes, and now I watch the calendar. Ever so slowly the months go by. And there are still two more to go before The Dog Walker's Diary is released. But got word last week that DWD is being printed, and some wonderful reviewers have already send in blurbs. I thank them.

The second book, originally written first, has been my best distraction. I get up in the dark to spend quiet hours alone with it. Whispering the sentences out loud to see what I can cut and what I should add. It's called, Stella Maris College for Women and it's about four high-spirited pranksters who go too far one night. They change the history of the college and propel a reluctant priest to the bishop's mansion.

But for now, I wait for November 7th and the release of The Dog Walker's Diary.
