Changes and Updates

So, I've made some changes to my LJ.

1. I changed the background to the cute little purple grim reaper. I feel as though I should blame Supernatural for this. Or possibly my friend Leslie for my love of all things purple.

2. My LJ pic is now actually a picture of me. Yes, that is me from my trip to Vegas last year. It was taken in front of Harrah's, which is where we stayed. I am also wearing the Star Trek hat that I bought at the convention. Yes, I went to Vegas to go to a Star Trek convention, thus securing me a place in geekdom for all eternity. And I'm going back again this year.

And now on to the Updates.

1. My computer had to be reformatted last month. Thankfully, all of my files were saved.

2. About three weeks ago, the casing on my laptop screen cracked, so now I can't really keep opening and closing it, so it is sitting open at home and I can't bring it to work anymore. Which makes me very sad.

3. Broken Wings, book 4 of Lost Boys and Love Letters, has hit 45000 words!!! Since the last three books all came in around 80 000, I've set the goal for this one around 100 000. Here's hoping I can hit it.

4. I'm going to England next month! I'm going to visit my friend Leslie who is teaching there. I'm very excited. VERY EXCITED.
