New Addictions

So, I have a new addiction.

During the Chirstmas Holidays, I caught an Iron Chef America marathon on the Food Network, and now I can't stop watching the Food Network.  Seriously, I am watching it right now.  There's a Food Network Challenge on and they have to make Beauty Pagent cakes.

Fav shows of the moment are: Iron Chef America, Chopped and Resturant Makeover.

We've had cable for YEARS.  For the life of me, I can't figure out why I have suddenly developed this weird need to watch the Food Network.  I mean, I tape the shows that are on at night so they don't interfere with the stuff I normally watch.  I like watching Resturant Makeover while I work on puzzles.

Yes.  That is another thing I have become addicted to.  I like puzzles.  I've always liked puzzles, I just haven't worked on any in a while and now I seem to have one going all of the time.  I bought four puzzles on Boxing Day.  I've done two, one is almost done and the other is still in the box.  Puzzles are fun.  It's weird.  They tend to frustrate me, but I love it.  When it gets really bad, I just take a step back and watch something on tv.

Okay, the cake challenge thing actually has the little beauty pagent girls in it.  The moms are the assitants.  But man, these girls, wow.  So weird to see little girls wearing that much makeup.  Of course, this is coming from the girl who wears basically just eye makeup and only when she's not really tired.

Anyway, those are my two new addictions for the year.  Here's hoping it sticks at two.

And I'm still cold.
