David Edward Wagner Nominated For
​Several Awards at 2017 Oaxaca Film Festival This will be short but sweet with follow ups to come in the near future.

I am very excited today, I just received word this afternoon that my script, Dam!, has been nominated for several awards and has been named an "official selection" of the 2017 Oaxaca Film Festival.

The festival, taking place in October, is considered one of the Top 25 or Top 50 (depending on where you get your info) film festivals in the world. Either way, not bad. They have recently partnered with Sundance and they are growing every year.

I am truly honored to be up for the following awards and achievements:
- Official Selection
- Best Script
- Global Script Challenge Finalist
- Best "Stirring Character"

Not bad for a monster movie about a giant beaver.

When military experiments go wrong, a college student home for spring break finds herself leading a motley group trying to stop a giant mutant beaver from destroying Toledo, Ohio. 

​I hope to have some updates and new blog posts as I prepare to travel to Mexico to take part in this fine film festival.
