'The Coffin Dancer' by Jeffrey Deaver

'His most dangerous tool is deception' - what applies to the villan in The Coffin Dancer might equally apply to Jeffrey Deaver. If you like your thrillers to be twisty affairs then Deaver's the man for you. But you probably knew that already.

Me, I like Deaver's standalones better than his Lincolm Rhymes series. The fact that I've read all his work except for the series indicates that I am a fan, and I just wanted to get another hit of his expert use of applied suspense formula.
I was neither disappointed nor positively surprised. The authour obviously knows how to pace his narratives, sow bits of information and/or red herings to keep us entertained, but at the end of the day I'm not that taken by forensic thrillers to give this more than 3 stars.
Just my humble opinion, of course.
