I had the pleasure of working with DJ Shaw on The Bennett Witch Chronicles, and I thought it would be fun to toss things up with her here. We squeezed in some time to talk about her busy life and her contribution to the Bonnie stories.

For those readers who are not familiar with you, tell us a little bit about yourself.

I’m a 39 yr old mom of five children (ages 15, 13, 9 & 7), one boy and four girls. The last two are twins and quite the handful lol. I have been writing since I was 10 years old but seriously writing since I was about 17. I love to live in the worlds of my characters, if only while I’m writing. But when I’m not writing I am mostly a mother. Well that isn’t entirely true lol I am also a caregiver. I have been a caregiver for almost 10 years now though I take care of my own mother as best I can now. I love to read, draw (when I get the urge lol) and color. I color all kinds of things for my little mobsters
