Book auction for charity & a signed print of Neil Gaiman!!
Attention all British bibliophiles!
There is currently an online auction of signed books donated by various authors, in aid of the BBC’s Children in Need.
At the forefront (lot number one), is a signed print of Neil Gaiman for the bargain price of £50
(and Good Omens, signed by Gaiman and Pratchett (purveyors of fine books).
So check it out, all proceeds go to charity.
My own signed and doodled novel, Kinnara sits at lot number 195 (I'm nowhere near as famous as Mr Gaiman).
So please give it some consideration. Plenty of books to choose from, and you'll be blessed with good karma for at least a month!

Well, I signed up and it let me. *lol* Entirely possible that I'll get an e-mail later, telling me it wasn't allowed. I bid on Greg Jenner's book (I already have the audio but the hardback would be nice too, the money is for a good cause and the book is gonna be cheaper than the hardback in the stores here). No way I can afford that Good Omens copy. :(

No no no no. Not the Gaiman one. *lol* I wouldn't bid on a print anyway. The book I was interested in but they are already at £121 so I'm out before I was ever in. The other book is currently at £7 so that's affordable. ;)
Ah, gotcha.I'm guessing that, rather like eBay, people will come in at the 11th hour with frantic bids, so who knows what Good Omens will fetch!

Yeah, I guess so too - I'm horrible at it. Even if I had the money, I'd probably lose every auction just for not being smart enough to do it right. *lol* Oh well, better then that I don't have the money. :POn the other hand, it's cool if they go for as much as possible since it's for a good cause, which means I couldn't really begrudge someone outbidding me.

Thank you for this Kevin. I will try for a couple and keep my fingers crossed. I've never been to an auction before but it's a challenge! Also of course a worthy cause too. LOL.

The books aren't just signed (that would be boring), many of them have quirky messages and scribbled drawings in them!
