Good-bye, Andy Rooney

If you're like our household, you watched the popular news show, SIXTY MINUTES, as much for the stories as you did for Andy Rooney's bit to cap off the show. The gentlemanly curmudgeon is now 92, and he's decided to retire. On his last bit, he agreed to be interviewed. As always, he spoke candidly. Getting old sucks. He thinks a lot about death. He still regards himself as a writer. He doesn't give autographs. I'm going to miss Andy. He was funny, but it was a sardonic wit he used. He also used a manual typewriter to write his pieces on. That's a real feat. So, it's good-bye, Andy. Godspeed.
