Second Mate!
It's set in the Soulmates-verse and takes place in central California.
The story follows Romeo, who due to life being life, has some hard knocks after turning 18. He hopes is soulmate can solve all his problems but when he turns 18, it's not what he expects. Still, he tries to make the best of the situation and just when it looks like things are finally looking up, an unexpected visitor shows up: his soulmate. Confused since her name is no where on his body but she has proof his name was on hers, Romeo has to make a tough decision. If she's originally supposed to be his mate, does that mean he should choose her? Or should he choose the person whose name is on his body, the boy he's been coming to know? Option A means no more financial problems: his kids are taken care of and his head can rest easy. Option B means more hard work but his heart can rest easy. What does Romeo decide?
