It can be quite overwhelming for a new author to find their way around the ins and outs of getting their book out there. Writing is the easy part, I think. I have determined not to fret but to take it one step at a time. I simply want the book to reach out and touch others, to make a difference in their lives, to give them a hope and perhaps a new way of thinking. Since I am not looking for fame or fortune it takes the pressure off. I believe whoever is supposed to read Houses of The Heart, Seasons of the Soul, will read it. If a person has money they have no problem utilizing all the avenues of advertising, if not, then it's piece by piece, here a little there a little, plugging along. There are several book stores in my area that have my book on line, they do author signings but I have not approached to find out if I need to bring my own books or if they will order them in, ah just learning as I go. And I am busy with so many other projects that I don't have the time to give it my all. I am satisfied with the book, I know it is good, and it is going to do whatever it is meant to do, but yes I will try to help it along. Anyone else out there have comments to share?
