We got a head start on summer earlier this week, just as the weather turned warm! (I will definitely miss the extended cool weather we’ve been enjoying lately, but I admit I was worried I was going to freeze at the beach so it was a pleasant surprise when the sun turned up the heat just in time.)

To complete the tropical vibe, my official bag of the summer is this handcrafted rattan Talitha tote by Cathy’s Bags! I love its chic yet laid-back, even somewhat vintage-y look. I have a feeling I’ll be taking this adorable tote wherever I go–from coffeeshop meetings, treasure hunting adventures, and picnic parties, to my happy place by the sea!
