So, my new book comes out in a few days, and while normally this kind of thing fails to give me much pause, I have to admit that I'm a little nervous this time. I've never written anything outside the genres of horror and supernatural thriller, and this book fits into neither of those categories. Certainly, it's a story of suspense--the publisher has categorized it as psychological suspense--but for me it's just a dark coming-of-age story. So yeah, it's a very different kind of thing for me, and I'm eager to see what people think.
