We are loosing our youth. Every day, I hear that a child or an adult has either taken their own life, or had it taken by someone else. My latest book, 'My Name is Emily Mills,' is actually based on real events. I know what it is like to be called names and tormented day by day in the classroom and even in the home. I look back at my life as a child and a young adult, and I honestly don't know how I survived. Going from the extreme of being bullied to a relationship of Domestic Violence, I thank God for my strength and courage. I can truly say I am a survivor. But I am so afraid for our youth. There are so many forms of bullying, and like myself, they are not reporting these violent acts in fear of retaliation.
