We’re now leaving 2017 behind us to start a whole new year: 2018. And that means I’ve started school again, and I am restarting the blog posts. However, I’ll be expanding what I’m writing about. Mostly because I’ve run out of books to review and don’t have the time to read more, but also because I want to see if I can find movies, comics/ graphic novels, and other fiction mediums with Queer protagonists. I would do TV Shows, but those tend to be very long.

When I first came up with the blog idea, I had a really hard time finding movies with queer protagonists that wasn’t a coming-of-age story or of someone struggling with the fact that they’re not heterosexual.

Seriously, why can’t we have a movie about a super hero or something who just happens to be gay. Is that so hard?

But, that’s my goal for this year! That, and trying to squeeze in a few more novels. Because, let’s be honest, reading is the only thing I’m really quite good at.

Further along, I’ll be talking about my own novella (which falls beautifully in this category), but I’ll leave that ’till later.
