Catnapped


Sugar is a sulphur-crested cockatoo, one of the larger members of the parrot family. The name is derived from the distinctive yellow crest on the bird's head that can be fanned out to an impressive display. They live long lives, especially in captivity, are very intelligent and excellent mimics.

Sugar comes to Jennifer through a cruel twist of fate, but they have a strong bond. Sugar is a special bird. He has an extensive vocabulary, but his really unique talent is matching the words and sounds he knows to the situation at hand. Is he just smarter than the average cockatoo or is he psychic?
