Expansive, laughing at the mind-made pattern,
Crushing this idea of “slattern;”
Disreputable free woman; suppressed, repressed,
Made small for their comfort,
Caged in by their fears,
Which became ours as well.
A bird is more beautiful flying,
And if an apple and knowledge tempted Eve,
Hell, I’d eat it!
Even if it was accompanied by some stigma of shame;
The real serpent whispering a story
Of man’s dominance into the population’s ear.
