Had a great time at the very first GayRomLit in New Orleans this past weekend (Oct. 12-16). Hats off to all the organizers and volunteers!

I got to meet Laura Baumbach, Kris Jacen, and many fellow MLR Press authors; many more authors and enthusiastic readers (including Lauraadriana!).

Sampled great food, took a ghost tour, signed books on a river boat cruise, chatted with dancing boys (for research purposes only, I assure you).

And I had some great conversations with Elisa Rolle. It was like hanging with a celebrity!

Next year it's in Albuquerque. Oh, yes, I plan to attend. Yes, indeed.
