The Scientist's Dog
Just published my latest book entitled "The Scientist's Dog". So, far, the people who've read it say they really like it.
As in my last book on the new drug approval process, I've tried to take complicated scientific ideas and make them simple enough for the average reader. In the book, these ideas are explained to me by my very cute little dog and there are lots of pictures of him that I hope readers will enjoy.
The gist of the book is that the earth is a pretty complicated place and using scientific/mathematical analysis to predict the evolution of climate changes is not exact and subject to large errors. So, the range of possible outcomes is quite large and encompasses, dire possibilities that concern many scientists but are rarely discussed publicly. Given that we all have only this planet to live on, I thought it would be a good idea to let regular people know about the worst climate fears because if the come to pass, they will impact everyone, rich, poor, young, old, etc.
The book is available on amazon.com in both a black and white edition, a color edition and an eBook of the color edition.
Unless you like holding a color book in your hand, I'd recommend the color eBook. The color paperback, is, unfortunately, a bit more expensive given the much higher printing costs. Thus, the black and white paperback.
